Rally Sardinia Junior winner, Daniel Sordo has insisted that changing co-drivers' is no big deal - and that he is confident he will gel with his new partner, Oriol Julia, despite the fact the two have never met!

Sordo, who will be driving the second Citroen C2 Super 1600 car this weekend entered by Kronos Racing on the Acropolis, added while he will miss Marc Marti, who will instead be co-driving for Carlos Sainz, he is hopeful he can do well.

"I haven't met Oriol [my new co-driver] yet but I'm sure everything will be fine," he confirmed. "From what I've heard, he's a true professional.

"To the onlooker, changing co-drivers may seem a delicate move. But it doesn't take long to have confidence in someone new. There is no reason why it shouldn't work out. I will miss Marc's experience though, that's for sure!"

Sordo, who is Sainz's protege, admitted that he has been nagging both in the build-up to the Greek event and that they have passed on some useful tips.

"He [Marti] and Carlos have obviously talked to me about the event," added Sordo. "They told me that it's a tough rally and that the main thing is to be sympathetic with the mechanicals and keep clear of punctures. I will be looking to finish as high up the order as possible and, if the opportunity arises, I will try to win. But winning the championship is my priority. Any error could have a big knock-on effect."
