Poll result: Loeb urged to join Subaru in 2006.

Citroen ace, Sebastien Loeb should join Subaru in 2006, that's the verdict of the Crash.net poll, in which nearly one third of you reckoned the Frenchman should link up with Petter Solberg next season, to form a 'dream team'.

Of the rest, 27 per cent of you felt that staying with Citroen in a semi-privateer capacity in 2006 would be his second best option, although that will probably be dependent upon whether they opt to quit the WRC for good, or just take a sabbatical for one year, before returning officially in 2007, with a new car - as is strongly rumoured to be the case.

Ford meanwhile got 22 per cent of the vote, while only 12 per cent said Mitsubishi and 9 per cent Skoda.
