Jari-Matti Latvala has topped the times for the shakedown ahead of Rally Argentina for Toyota ahead of Citroen pair Craig Breen and Kris Meeke.
The Finnish driver, who suffered an early exit last time out at Tour de Corse, is aiming to bounce back after a difficult start to the 2018 World Rally Championship and the 2014 Rally Argentina winner made the ideal start topping the shakedown by three-tenths of a second from Breen.

Jari-Matti Latvala has topped the times for the shakedown ahead of Rally Argentina for Toyota ahead of Citroen pair Craig Breen and Kris Meeke.
The Finnish driver, who suffered an early exit last time out at Tour de Corse, is aiming to bounce back after a difficult start to the 2018 World Rally Championship and the 2014 Rally Argentina winner made the ideal start topping the shakedown by three-tenths of a second from Breen.
Breen, who also failed to finish under regular conditions at the French round last time out, narrowly nipped ahead of Citroen teammate Meeke with Hyundai’s Andreas Mikkelsen in fourth place.
Ott Tanak holds fifth place after the shakedown as he looks to maintain momentum from his second place finish at Tour de Corse with his fellow podium finishers from Corsica Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) and WRC championship leader Sebastian Ogier (M-Sport Ford) in close contention completing the top seven.
Dani Sordo continues his run of WRC events in the third Hyundai car in Argentina, ahead of drive share partner Hayden Paddon, and was eighth fastest in the shakedown as Finnish pair Teemu Suninen (M-Sport Ford) and Esapekka Lappi (Toyota) rounded out the top ten.
Elfyn Evans produced a measured start at the shakedown in 11th for M-Sport Ford ahead of Khalid Al-Qassimi who makes his first WRC start for Citroen in 2018.
