New Supersport team Yamaha France were present in testing at Almeria last week where multiple Supermotard champion Thierry van den Bosch made a head turning Supersport debut.
The Frenchman [pictured] stunned onlookers when he lapped under the Almeria Supersport lap record on his new R6, giving proof that he needs little time to master the technique required to ride a Supersport bike at race winning speed.
Van den Bosch's team-mate Matthieu Lagrive did not participate in the test due to a minor hand injury.
