PSG-1 gets San Marino support.

Earlier this week, representatives of the PSG-1 Kawasaki team, based in San Marino, met with the region's secretary of state for foreign affairs, Fiorenzo Stolfi.

The team's management explained their plans for the 2007 World Superbike season, which starts in Qatar next February, while riders Fonsi Nieto and Regis Laconi presented the minister with one of their helmets.

During the meeting, the secretary of state was also invited to the team's 2007 launch on 27-29 January and asked for permission to put the San Marino flag on the motorcycles' livery.

The team's management explained their plans for the 2007 World Superbike season, which starts in Qatar next February, while riders Fonsi Nieto and Regis Laconi presented the minister with one of their helmets.

During the meeting, the secretary of state was also invited to the team's 2007 launch on 27-29 January and asked for permission to put the San Marino flag on the motorcycles' livery.

The secretary of state emphasised the importance for San Marino in helping Kawasaki's leading SBK team and underlined the willingness of San Marino to collaborate with it.
