Toseland talks to Crash.Net - RADIO EXCLUSIVE.

If James Toseland's performance at Donington Park at the end of the month comes even close to matching what he produced during a live gig in London last week, his rivals ought to be very worried indeed.

The 2004 World Superbike Champion is just as talented a musician as he is a competitor out on the racetrack, having learnt to play the piano at an early age. Five years ago he formed the band Crash alongside Paul Grant-Reason, Warren Odell and Gavin Hall, and the quartet put on an exclusive concert in London last Thursday to promote the forthcoming World Superbike round at Donington on the weekend of 31 March - 1 April, the series' first visit to the sweeping Leicestershire circuit in six years and traditionally a happy hunting ground for the Sheffield-born ace.

The group covers songs by artists such as Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Guns n' Roses and U2, and the current WSBK championship leader took time out during the gig to chat to Crash.net Radio about his musical influences, his enthusiasm for playing live, his hopes ahead of Donington Park and his aims for the remainder of the season.
