Kawasaki Racing team-mates Loris Baz and Tom Sykes come together controversially in the first World Superbike race of the day at Sepang.
The duo - who came into the event 1-2 in the standings - retire on the spot, along with the innocent Alex Lowes, after Baz clips his championship leading counterpart.
Sykes has since expressed his unhappiness at his team-mate, claiming 'Baz proved a lot of people right at my expense'
