2021 Official Barcelona WorldSBK Test, Wednesday - Midday Results

Scott Redding leads the way on day-one of Official WorldSBK testing in Barcelona at the midday stage.
The opening four hours were a competitive one at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, with Ducati and Yamaha exchanging fastest times.
Redding is one of the more familiar riders with the Catalan circuit due to his years in MotoGP, and wasted no time getting up to speed.
The Brit remained top until the beginning of the third hour when Toprak Razgatlioglu went fastest for Pata Yamaha, but Redding soon regained top spot and finished 0.471s quicker than American Garrett Gerloff at lunch.
The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya made it's debut on the WorldSBK calendar in 2020, with Jonathan Rea, Michael Van Der Mark and Chaz Davies all taking a victory each.
