Toprak Razgatlioglu made a brilliant start as he gained five spots heading into turn one, while Redding took the lead from Jonathan Rea as was the case in race one.
After a chaotic first four laps which saw Redding, Rea and Razgatlioglu all lead, Redding showed his extra pace to pull clear on laps five and six.
Andrea Locatelli secured his second fourth place finish of the weekend after coming out on top in his battle with Alex Lowes.
Razgatlioglu had no answer for the front two as Rea started to close in on Redding with two laps to go. Rea got within two tenths, but Redding held on for his second win from two.
