Sandro Cortese has taken his turn at the top of the times in the World Supersport championship at Aragon with the competition remaining remarkably close as less than one-tenth of a second splits an all-Yamaha top four.

Sandro Cortese has taken his turn at the top of the times in the World Supersport championship at Aragon with the competition remaining remarkably close as less than one-tenth of a second splits an all-Yamaha top four.
The Kallio Racing Yamaha rider produced alte 1m 54.665s to dart to the top and edge out defending World Supersport champion Lucas Mahias by just 0.038s.
In a familiar pattern to Friday practice, the top places were incredibly tight between the Yamaha riders with Federico Caricasulo in third just 0.080s off of Cortese while FP2 timesheet-topper Randy Krummencacher was also within one-tenth of a second for Bardahl Evan Bros Yamaha.
There was then a huge gap to the rest of the field with Raffaelle De Rosa in fifth but over six-tenths off of the top four for MV Agusta.
Kenan Sofuoglu’s injury stand-in Sheridan Morais found impressive overnight gains with the Puccetti Kawasaki to jump to sixth in FP3 ahead of teammate Hikari Okubo as Jules Cluzel (NRT Yamaha), Luke Stapleford (Profile Racing Triumph) and Anthony West (antwest Kawasaki) rounded out the top ten.
