Honda unveils new livery for BSB comeback
Honda Racing has pulled the wraps off the bikes that will spearhead its three-strong return to the MCE British Superbike Championship in 2015.
After a sabbatical in 2014, Honda Racing returns to BSB action in 2015 with an all-new line-up comprising last year's Title Showdown contender Dan Linfoot, Superstock 1000 runner-up Jason O'Halloran and Jenny Tinmouth.
To celebrate its comeback, Honda Racing has unveiled a striking new livery inspired by its corporate colours - red, black and white -, though it carries no significant sponsorship, unlike previous years when it ran with HM Plant and Samsung title backing.
Unveiled during a private test in Spain at the Monteblanco circuit, Honda Racing team manager Havier Beltran is happy with how pre-season preparations are progressing.
"It's great to finally be able to show the new livery after keeping it under wraps for so long. We feel the new design works well and will really stand out on the grid. The riders were happy with their logos incorporated into the design and we're excited to see them in action at the first round of the championship.
"From a test perspective we're really pleased with how the last few days have gone. Dan and Jason have really progressed from the test we had here in January and it's been great to see Jenny get out on the bike and really get to grips with it, and put in some impressive times."
