Fraser Rogers and Ben Luxton confirmed at Aprilia IN Competition for 2021
Aprilia IN Competition have doubled up their line-up ahead of the new 2021 Pirelli National Superstock season, with the signings of Fraser Rogers and Ben Luxton aboard the new RSV4.
Rogers returns to the National Superstock class after last season's top ten finish in the championship, while team-mate Luxton joins Ian Newton's team as 2020 Pirelli Junior Superstock champion.
"Honestly I’m so happy to be joining the IN Competition Aprilia team. It almost feels like going home. Ian has looked after me previously in Superteens, Redbull Rookies and throughout the years of UK racing, so I believe this is the right move for me at this point in my career to try and get back to winning ways," said Rogers.
"For the first time in a number of years I feel like I have the right team and a very competitive package around and underneath me.
"With this in mind, I have one goal for 2021 and that is to fight for the championship, so myself and the team will be giving 110% to try and achieve this goal.
"I have a complete new mindset and I'm very grateful for this opportunity. I’d like to thank Aprilia, Ian & Myra for this chance and everyone working and helping behind the scenes for me.”
Both riders are familiar with Team Manager Ian Newton and Aprilia, having competed in the Superteens series earlier in their career. Luxton also won the 2014 RRV450 championship in 2014.
Speaking after the team presentation, Luxton said: "Super excited to be joining the IN Competition Aprilia Racing Team for the 2021 season.
"Couldn’t be in a better place with a proven team. I’d like to thank Ian & Myra, and all my sponsors for this great opportunity."
