By Mike Nicks Shane Byrne and the loping power of his Airwaves Ducati 1098R again broke the challenge of British superbike racing's young guns in the first of today's two 20-lap races on the 2.3-mile grand prix circuit.
First BSB win for Crutchlow!
After looking like Shane Byrne's closest challenger in the first race at Thruxton, Cal Crutchlow managed to put one over the Ducati rider in race two, taking a clear victory on the HM Plant Honda.
Donington drama blows championship wide open!
With the Championship leader limping away from his stricken HM Plant Honda the title chase is now really on. Team-mate to Kiyo, Jonathan Rea is just 30 points behind in second place and Leon Haslam on the Airwaves Ducati is 20 points down on Rea.
Haslam takes first win of 2007.
The delighted Ducati rider came over the line just 0.158secs clear of Shane Byrne on the Stobart Honda. Third place went to Haslam's team-mate Gregorio Lavilla who had to start from the third row of the grid and work his way through the pack.
Silvertone double for Kiyo.
'Kiyo' was being chased down by Gregorio Lavilla on the Airwaves Ducati when Steve Plater's AIM Yamaha had a technical problem which left liquid on the track, causing Paul Barron and Tom Tunstall to crash out.
Calculated win for Haslam at Cadwell.
The second race of round eleven of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship at Cadwell Park saw Leon Haslam on the Airwaves Ducati take his second race win of the season and extend his Championship lead.

Vivaldi Suzuki's Scott Smart took a well earned race win at a soaking wet Donington Park for the second round of the Bennetts British Superbike championship. The injured Leon Haslam took second place from his Airwaves Duacti team-mate Gregorio Lavilla who finished third.

Kiyonari wins Brands race two by 19secs!
Wet weather and tyre choice played into Ryiuchi Kiyonari's hands today at Brands Hatch in Kent. Kiyonari opted to run full wets in the mixed weather conditions and it paid off, by lap twelve of the thirty lap race he was starting to lap all the top riders!
Kiyo holds off Lavilla at Oulton.
Ryuichi Kiyonari held off the constant attentions of Gregorio Lavilla to take victory in the Bennetts British Superbike championship at Oulton Park.
Kiyonari takes race one at Snetterton
Ryuichi Kiyonari once again took his HM Plant Honda across the finish line first to claim another dominant win race one of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship at Snetterton. The Japanese had a lead of 8.28secs and broke the lap record twice to set a new best of 1min 5.685secs.

Lavilla takes race two honours at Croft.
Gregorio Lavilla on the Airwaves Ducati won the second Bennett's British Superbike race at Croft. He battled through red flags, pace cars and crashes to take the top step of the podium away from Michael Rutter on the HM Plant Honda and his team-mate Ryuichi Kiyonari.
Haslam breaks Honda monopoly at Oulton.
Leon Haslam finally brought the run of success being enjoyed by the HM Plant Honda team to an end in race two of the Bennett's British Superbike meeting at Oulton Park - but the youngster had, in part, to thank the weather for his victory.
