Microsoft to sponsor 'One Second In ... F1 Racing'
Microsoft Cloud is to sponsor CNBC's new 10-part weekly series One Second In ... F1 Racing.
The new series - which "offers a revealing look inside the world's most-watched sports series, where every second counts" - will premiere on 24 April and will be sponsored by Microsoft as it looks to build on its technical partnership with Lotus.
According to CNBC: "The series goes behind the scenes to look at all the technology, innovation and teamwork that goes into each second on the track. It meets the mavericks behind the high-octane racing, delves into the history and looks at the future of the sport that is on the cutting edge of technology and inspires so many."
Jason Webby, Senior Vice President, Sales at CNBC International said: "We are delighted that Microsoft has chosen CNBC as a major platform for this strategic initiative. This unique campaign closely aligns with Microsoft's strategic priorities, and will effectively target our influential global business audience in a dynamic and engaging manner."
Tara Powadiuk, EMEA Media Group Manager at Microsoft, added: "Our sponsorship is a tremendous way to demonstrate the importance of technology in an extremely competitive and demanding environment and we are excited that Microsoft Cloud is associated with the CNBC series."
