Ferrari Deny Jerez Water Leak

Stories that Michael Schumacher was on the verge of retiring from the European Grand Prix due to a water leak before his controversial coming together with Jacques Villeneuve have been denied by the team.
The team have stated that the car was in perfect running order at the moment of impact and that Michael1s slightly slower lap times were in fact caused by an increased fuel load. Jackie Stewart also added to Ferrari1s denials saying that he has it on good authority that Michael did not complaining of any problems either prior to, or after, the incident.

The team have also said that they can produce telemetry information to prove their case but do not wish to reveal it before Schumacher1s hearing on the 11th.
