Pedro De La Rosa At Jordan!

The current Formula Nippon F3000 Champion, Pedro de la Rosa of Spain was present at the Jordan Grand Prix factory in the UK today (3/12/97) to undertake a two day test of the interim Jordan 197NH (Narrow Track) Mugen Honda F1 car at Silverstone. Unfortunately due to adverse weather conditions the team did not test, Pedro is therefore hoping for his first taste of F1 power tomorrow at the Northamptonshire track.

Team owner Eddie Jordan said of Pedro (With Damon Hill and Ralf Schumacher unavailable to test, this is an ideal opportunity for us to have a good look at Pedro,
He is an exciting prospect for the future and if it goes well we will probably invite him to Barcelona later this month.
