Schuey Hits Trouble In New Ferrari F300.
While his team mate Eddie Irvine was conducting tests at Jerez in Southern Spain with the interim 1997/98 Ferrari F1, Michael Schumacher was at the team's test track at Fiorano Italy testing the new Ferrari F300 F1 car and experiencing problems.
It is believed that the Ferrari suffered an oil leak near to the new longitudinal seven-speed gearbox, although Ferrari denied any such problem.
Schumacher is planning to be at Jerez next week, (19/1/98) to test the new car should they eventually solve the current problems.
