New Tyrrell 026 Breaks Cover.

The new Tyrrell 026 Formula One car for the 1998 F1 season was unveiled today at Terence Conran's Bluebird Restaurant in London (21/1/98).


The all-new car resplendent in dramatic black, white and silver livery has been produced by the team's highly regarded technical team under the direction of Dr Harvey Postlethwaite. It has been designed to comply fully with the new for 1998 Formula One regulations.

One innovative aerodynamic carry-over from the 1997 Tyrrell-Ford will be the continuing use of the X-Wings which have proved effective on circuits requiring higher levels of downforce.
