Irvine?s time of 1m27.56s set on new tyres after he had completed work on set up and aerodynamics was less than two seconds slower than the Mugello record set by Schumacher on SLICK TYRES in last year?s Ferrari F310B. Hopes are obviously high at Maranello after a rather slow and problematic start to their testing with the F300 earlier this year.
