Eddie Ready For Aussie V8

Ferrari pilot Eddie Irvine has admitted that the thought of driving a big banger Aussie V8 touring car is one that appeals to him.

Irvine was Down Under at the weekend as part of a promotional exercise for the first grand prix of the year, and took time to visit the Australian 1000 at Bathurst. The Irishman was apparently invited to share the Holden Commodore of Tomas Mezera, but eventually turned down the offer.

He did admit, however, to looking forward to contesting the event in the future.
