Coulthard Continues Backmarker Blast.

David Coulthard has continued his tirade against the backmarkers he blames for costing him victory in San Marino by calling for the culprits to be heavily fined.

The Scot found himself trapped in traffic while trying to build a sufficient advantage over the pit-stopping Michael Schumacher, and claims he lost several seconds because of unco-operative tail-enders. His McLaren boss, Ron Dennis also criticised driving standards, before adding a barbed comment about the unsporting nature of team bosses who dallied before instructing their drivers to move aside.

Coulthard failed to point out, however, that, having been allowed through by Panis once, he made his task difficult again by sliding off the circuit and rejoining behind the Prost.
