Heidfeld In Prost Connection.

F3000 series leader Nick Heidfeld could find himself in great demand as the silly season hots up, with Prost the latest team to want his services next year.

Heidfeld was lined up to replace Damon Hill at Jordan, should the Englishman have retired after the British Grand Prix, but a long-term deal with the Silverstone team is thought to have been ruled out by his McLaren-Mercedes links.
