Ferrari Design Team To Split?
Ferrari's design duo of Ross Brawn and Rory Byrne could be set to part, after the South African again revealed plans to retire to Thailand.
Byrne has originally planned to retire after the 1996 season, but was persuaded to re-form his Benetton partnership with Brawn at Maranello instead of setting up a scuba-diving school in the Far East. Now, however, the former Toleman designer has cited personal reasons for quitting the Scuderia, and intends to move to Thailand as soon as design work on next year's Ferrari F651 is completed.

The team is rumoured to have enquired after both Alan Jenkins and Gary Anderson as possible replacements, although they remain under contract to Prost and Stewart respectively for the next four years.
