Knowing full well that the world of Formula One never stays still for longer than the blink of an eye-lid the Jaguar team, with test driver Luciano Burti, have been busy clocking up the miles at the Lurcy-Levis circuit in France, eager to build on the squad's recent 1-2 performance in testing at Jerez.

Keen to stay ahead of the rest of the pack, the Milton Keynes based team rushed to the French track to try out some new components and work on further improving their aerodynamic set-ups. Although no official times were given out, the test is understood to have been quite productive.


Spending the weekend at the circuit, Burti, last season's British Formula 3 runner-up and Jaguar's official test driver this year, was preparing the R1 chassis for when regular drivers Eddie Irvine and Johnny Herbert take over the running in the team's final pre-season shakedown at Silverstone on Tuesday and Wednesday. The cars will then be shipped out to Melbourne for the opening round of the World Championship on March 12th.
