Herbert Joins Helmet Change Trend.
Jaguar driver Johnny Herbert is due to unveil a new look crash helmet design on the eve of the Australian Grand Prix, following in the footsteps of team-mate Eddie Irvine.
The Irishman revealed a complete change of image at the beginning of the week, when he took the wraps off a new black helmet finished with a roaring Jaguar logo. The reason for the change, Irvine said, was that his original orange design clashed with the team's metallic green paintwork, claiming that his new lid would inject a bit of fun into the sport.

Herbert's design will remain a mystery until its unveiling at a sponsor's 'ride and drive' event at Calder Park Raceway on Wednesday, but is unlikely to be as dramatic a change as that exhibited by Irvine.
