Synge steps down at BAR.
British American Racing has announced that Robert Synge has withdrawn from his role as team manager with immediate effect.
No reason was given for the move, although it was revealed that Synge will now concentrate as a motorsport opportunities advisor for BAR. Factory manager Ron Meadows has been handed the responsibility of replacing the team stalwart, with assistant team manager Andrew Alsworth looking after the test team.
