Zonta escapes second testing crash.
Beleaguered BAR driver Ricardo Zonta must be wondering what he has done to suffer two massive testing crashes in one season, after wrecking his car at Monza.
The Brazilian reported trouble with his brakes as for the second time this season - following on from Silverstone in April - he escaped largely unhurt from a huge testing accident. This time he was heading into the notorious Parabolica when he found his stopping power seriously reduced and, despite putting the BAR into a spin in a vain attempt to scrub off more speed, still hit the barriers with some force.

Although the chassis was destroyed from the cockpit back, the survival cell did its job and Zonta was able to climb out with minor injuries to both knees. He is unlikely to test tomorrow, however, despite BAR having two further cars at the test for Patrick Lemarie and Darren Manning.
