Heidfeld wants girlfriend ban pulled.
Nick Heidfeld has told his team boss Peter Sauber that not allowing him or teammate Kimi Raikkonen to bring their girlfriends to the GPs is a bad move.
He said: "I told him that in my opinion it's the wrong move. I would like my girlfriend to be here, I think she just makes me stronger and she knows that on the race weekend Formula 1 racing has the priority. But he asked me to leave her at home and Kimi (Raikkonen) as well. Of course I agreed to that."

Peter Sauber is believed to have imposed a 'distraction ban' as he thought new boy Kimi Raikkonen needed to put all his efforts into racing. Nick Heidfeld was also given the same instructions so as to ensure there was no perceived favouritism.
