Despite the FIA's attempts to stop F1 teams testing in November and December it appears that some teams may use a sports car or a F3000 car to get around the regulations.

Despite the FIA's attempts to stop F1 teams testing in November and December it appears that some teams may use a sports car or a F3000 car to get around the regulations.

Speaking at the Austrian GP Frank Williams told ITV Sport: "Saying someone is using a loophole in a regulation implies there is a regulation and you have found a way around it. But there is no regulation that says you may not run a sports car in the wind tunnel or may diversify and run a vegetable business! Testing in the winter is the team's business. So if we are able to do it with a sportscar or an F3000 car we can."
