UK Garage divas Mis-teeq has become the latest act to confirm for the F1 Awards at the 2003 Grand Prix Party on Saturday 11th January at the NEC Arena, Birmingham.
The 'All I Want' trio will join Beverley Knight, Paul Carrack and the most unlikely success story of 2002, the Cheeky Girls, on stage at the annual star-studded event in aid of the Brain and Spine Foundation.
The F1 line-up also welcomes Toyota's most recent signing, the highly respected Frenchman Olivier Panis. The former BAR driver will join David Coulthard, Giancarlo Fisichella, Mark Webber, Felipe Massa, Cristiano da Matta and new Brit on the grid, Justin Wilson on stage. The event will also enjoy appearances from Formula One favourites including Murray Walker, Martin Brundle and 1996 World Champion Damon Hill.
Adding to the glamour, former model turned F1 Lifestyle reporter Beverley Turner will step up to host the annual fundraiser which, for the third successive year, combines two of the world's most alluring forms on entertainment.
The Awards themselves are judged by an elite panel of F1 luminaries and will be presented for Best Driver, Best Car of 2002, Rookie of the Year, Outstanding Contribution in 2002 and Lifetime Achievement. New additions for this year are Best Circuit, the Special Safety Award and the inaugural Driver's Driver award, voted by the Drivers and Test Drivers of 2002.
Previously held at the Royal Albert Hall, the Grand Prix Party has already raised over $400,000 for the BSF and past winners include Michael Schumacher (Best Driver), Jenson Button (Rookie of the Year) and Murray Walker (Lifetime Achievement).
