Williams is the closest to Renault’s allocation with nine sets each of the purple-banded tyres for Sergey Sirotkin and Lance Stroll with all of the other eight teams opting for either seven or eight sets of the softest compound.
In a number of inter-team driver splits, Mercedes’ Valtteri Bottas, Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen and Haas’ Kevin Magnussen have selected the most soft tyre sets across the F1 drivers with five sets each, while Renault’s Sainz has selected just one set of softs.
