Leclerc handed Venturi Formula E rookie test outing
Arthur Leclerc, brother of Ferrari F1 driver Charles, will take part in the Formula E rookie test in Marrakesh with Venturi.
Leclerc, who finished in fifth place in the 2018 French Formula 4 championship, has been strongly linked to the Monegasque Formula E squad and will duly drive for the team at the rookie test.

Leclerc, who finished in fifth place in the 2018 French Formula 4 championship, has been strongly linked to the Monegasque Formula E squad and will duly drive for the team at the rookie test.
The test takes place the day after the second round of the 2018/19 Formula E season on January 13 and is used to bed in rookies to the all-electric series with the new Gen2 cars.
The 18-year-old will take over one of Venturi’s Formula E cars from either Felipe Massa or Edoardo Mortara who contest the Marrakesh ePrix on January 12 at the Circuit International Automobile Moulay El Hassan.

Leclerc becomes the latest name confirmed for the rookie test alongside HWA’s Daniel Juncadella and Raffaele Marciello, Techeetah’s Tatiana Calderon and James Rossiter, Mahindra’s Sergey Sirotkin and NIO’s Jamie Chadwick.
