TaeBo, the primary sponsor of defending Indy Racing Northern Light Series Champion Buddy Lazier's Hemelgarn Racing Dallara-Aurora have announced a new initiative aimed at helping all IRNLS fans to get into shape.

TaeBo, one of the top fitness programs in America, expanded its involvement with the Indy Racing League by becoming the league's "Official Fitness Program."

"We are confident TaeBo's expanded role with the Indy Racing Northern Light Series will prove to be a perfect fit for both organisations," said Bob Reif, vice president of sales and marketing and chief marketing officer for the Indy Racing League. "The company has been a great partner of the league's for the past two years, and we hope the relationship continues for years to come."

TaeBo has been involved with Indy Racing since 1999 when it joined Hemelgarn Racing as an associate sponsor. After two years and one Indy Racing Northern Light Series championship, TaeBo announced it would increase its sponsorship from associate to primary on Buddy Lazier's #91 Indy Racing car.

The company then furthered their involvement by joining the Indy Racing League as the 'Official Fitness Program.'

"We are thrilled that TaeBo has been named the 'Official Fitness Program' of the Indy Racing League," said Paul A. Monea, president of Integrity Global Marketing, the producers and marketers of TaeBo. "TaeBo has been a long-time sponsor of Hemelgarn Racing and Buddy Lazier, the defending series champions, and we are very happy to increase our involvement with the IRL. TaeBo is the most exciting and popular fitness system in the world, so it's a great fit with the Indy Racing League, the most exciting racing in the world."

The cross-promotional program includes Lazier and Indy Racing features on TaeBo's official Web site (www.taebo.com), Indy Racing tags on TaeBo videos and infomercials, and other programs yet to be announced.

In August 1998, TaeBo, a combination of Tae-kwon Do, boxing and high-energy dance music, debuted in an infomercial and became an instant success.

Ascending rapidly to the top of the charts, TaeBo remains the best-selling workout videos of all time and is now available worldwide in 33 countries and eleven languages.
