Treadway to miss Colorado race.
Treadway-Hubbard Racing and driver Rick Treadway will not be competing in this Sunday's Indy Racing League event at Pikes Peak International Raceway due to the failure of primary sponsor Airlink and its principals to fulfill their financial obligations to the team.
Treadway-Hubbard Racing will fulfill its obligations to sponsors Sprint and Meijer at the July 7 IRL event at the Kansas Speedway and the July 28 race at Michigan International Speedway.

"I'm really sorry to have to do this, but I have no other choice since Airlink and its principals have not paid," said Fred Treadway. "We'll skip Colorado, but we'll be ready in Kansas City and Michigan and hopefully something will materialize between now and then or for the balance of the season for the #55 car."
The crew of the #55 car has been hired by Sam Schmidt Motorsports to field a second entry for the Colorado event. The driver will be Anthony Lazzaro. Treadway-Hubbard Racing handles the on-track operations for the full-season entry of Sam Schmidt Motorsports.
