Briscoe in 'good condition' in hospital.

Target Chip Ganassi driver Ryan Briscoe was kept in hospital overnight on Sunday after his spectacular accident in the Peak Antifreeze Indy 300 and although his injuries are remarkably light when considering the vicious nature of his crash, the young Australian is likely to miss the rest of the season.

Briscoe, who was airlifted to Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, Illinois after flipping out of the 15th round of the 2005 IRL Championship following contact with Alex Barron, was listed in good condition with a concussion, a bruised lung and two fractured clavicles on Sunday evening.
