Penske, Vitaphone missing from Le Mans list.
The ACO has announced a list of 18 teams that have accepted entries into the Le Mans 24 Hours in June - with two high profile teams having not taken up their automatic slots for the famous endurance event.
The 18 teams will field 24 cars in the race, meaning that only four entries have not been taken up from the list of 28 issued just before Christmas.

Of the three teams who haven't confirmed their participation, two are in the LMP2 category - with the Penske Porsche team failing to take up either of its entries and RML only accepting one of the two entries it was offered after winning at Le Mans season and also finishing second in the LMP2 class of the Le Mans series.
The other team not to confirm its desire to take up an entry is Vitaphone Racing, which was offered a GT1 slot thanks to its victory in the FIA GT Championship despite the fact that its Maserati MC12 is ineligible for the 24 Hour classic.
The deadline for teams looking to fill the 31 vacant entries is 24 January.
