Siedler in Kruse mode.
After several frustrating attempts to break into the US open-wheel scene, former Euro F3000 champion Norbert Siedler has turned his full-time attention to sportscars, signing with Cologne-based Kruse Motorsport for this year's Le Mans Series.
The Anglo-German squad has also agreed a technical partnership with four-time Le Mans winner Henri Pescarolo's eponymous concern, and this proved attractive to Siedler, who now hopes to build upon his victory, with Kruse, in the LMP2 class at Jarama last year.

"I have to thank team principals Ian Mitchell and Kai Kruse for their belief in my abilities, and for their ambition," the Austrian said, "We are optimistic that the new Pescarolo-Judd V8 will be a competitive car, and we are curious if we can take the challenge to the Lolas. I am looking forward to the first official test at in March."
Siedler's programme could also include an appearance at the Le Mans 24 Hours in June, and team manager Kruse is confident that the youngster can help make the team a regular contender for honours.
"It's great to have Norbert back in the team after his fantastic debut at the 1000km of Jarama," he said, "To continue this partnership makes me happy and confident for the new season and certainly also for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Norbert has not only impressed me with his pure speed, but also with his attitude, his motivation and his
discipline. He is a team player and we will give our very best to becoming a title contender."
