PICS: Marquez's nine from nine at Sachsenring
MotoGP champion Marc Marquez has qualified on pole and won for the past nine years at the Sachsenring, starting with a 125cc victory in 2010, then a pair of Moto2 wins, followed by six victories in the premier-class.
Should Marquez make it seven in a row this weekend - a feat that slipped away at COTA earlier this year - he would tie with Valentino Rossi's Mugello record from 2002-2008.

Should Marquez make it seven in a row this weekend - a feat that slipped away at COTA earlier this year - he would tie with Valentino Rossi's Mugello record from 2002-2008.
The only rider with more consecutive premier-class wins at the same circuit is Giacomo Agostini, who claimed eight in a row at Spa-Francorchamps from 1966-1973 and nine in a row at Imatra from 1965–1973.
In total Agostini won 15 times at Imatra during nine-seasons from 1965-1973, when combining his 350 and 500cc results.
While Marquez can't yet beat that total, since he only races in one class, victory this weekend would give him a longer, ten-year, victory stretch than Agostini.
