Danilo Petrucci could be facing a spell out of competition after breaking his wrist in an accident prior to the Grand Prix of Spain.
The Italian came down on an in-lap during morning warm-up, the subsequent impact with the tarmac resulting in a fracture to his wrist.
Forced out of Monday's post-event test too, the IodaRacing rider is hoping to be back in the saddle soon.
"I was going back to the pits when I was thrown off the bike. Honestly do not know what happened. I hit my head but I landed with my left hand down and that's why I think I broke my wrist. I am very sorry , it's my second fall of the season. Now it will be important to recover quickly."
