Foggy: Walker wasn't good enough.
World Superbike legend Carl Fogarty has said that Chris Walker's sacking from the Shell Advance Honda team didn't surprise him and that the Englishman was "out of his depth" on two stroke Grand Prix machinery - while Jeremy McWilliams and old rival Neil Hodgson have both said they felt the decision was unfair.
The trio, speaking to Motor Cycle News about Walkers controversial dismissal - just eight races into his two-year contract - all expressed doubts about the teams commitment, but Foggy was the least sympathetic.

"I am not surprised," began the ex-Ducati rider. "I spoke to him at an event for Shark earlier this year and he clearly wasn't happy with the team. He felt they weren't helping him and I think he did well top keep a lid on things.
"But I've got to say that he was out of his depth," added the four times WSB champion. "I knew he would struggle because he is a four-stoke rider. I really wanted him to do well, but his results have been terrible and at the end of the day he wasn't good enough."
By contrast, Hodgson, who battled tooth-and-nail with Walker for the British Superbike Championship, said: "It does seem a bit harsh because you've only got to look at Haga, who hasn't really done that much (this year)."
Meanwhile current British MotoGP 250 star, Jeremy McWilliams, commented: "I feel really sorry for him, it's very sad... Nobody can be expected to come in and get in the top-10 in the first year. I think he's been treated unfairly."
Walker is believed to have turned down invitations to ride in this weekend's round of the World Superbike Championship at Brand s Hatch, and told MCN that he's "concentrating on getting back into GP's."
