Byrne: I won't be doing a Hayden...
Former British Superbike Champion Shane Byrne returns to Donington Park, a circuit where he's achieved so much previous success, knowing he could be in for a frustrating weekend in his home British Grand Prix.
'Shakey' took his KTM powered Proton KR machine to its first point of the season at the US GP last time out, but the machine is still lacking engine 'grunt' and it would take a miracle for Byrne to repeat Nicky Hayden's home MotoGP win at Laguna Seca.

"Last year I was blown away with the support I received from the British crowd and that just makes it even more frustrating," admitted Byrne in the run-up to his second British GP.
"As always I will give it my very very best, but with the bike as it is at the moment I will not be doing a Nicky Hayden at my home grand prix.
"I so want to be up there battling with the likes of Hayden and Rossi, but I will be fighting for points and not wins on Sunday," he stressed. "As always I will remain very positive and I can guarantee I will be trying my very hardest."
Practice for the British Grand Prix takes place on Friday.
