Stoner out of German Grand Prix.

Casey Stoner has been ruled out of Sunday's German Grand Prix at the Sachsenring after falling heavily during morning warm-up.

The 20-year-old Australian rookie lost the front of his Honda LCR through the ultra-fast downhill right hander (the corner in the lower picture) - leaving both Stoner and his RCV tumbling viciously through a gravel trap.

Stoner hit his head during the accident and, while able to walk away, was sent to hospital for a scan before a decision was made to withdraw from the race. Casey had qualified eighth on the grid.
