Dorna to take over World Endurance?
MotoGP commercial rights holder, Dorna Sports, is rumoured to be expanding its considerable portfolio to include the World Endurance championship, currently promoted by World Superbike controller's FG Sport.
Dorna, recently sold to capital company Bridgepoint after previous stakeholder CVC offloaded the company as part of its acquisition of F1 rights, already promotes the British and Spanish Superbike Championships - plus more minor projects - in addition to MotoGP, and could be increasing its influence further.

"FG Sport looks like they're going to finish with the World Endurance championship. They've been the promoter for the past six years and things haven't gone as well as they hoped, so I think they're not going to continue," current World Endurance racer Warwick Nowland told Crash.net Radio at Brands Hatch.
"I've heard lots of stories about it this weekend - there's a fair bit of talk about it here and maybe Dorna are going to take it over. I don't know, I know Dorna want to get their hands on everything and rule the world. We'll just have to wait and see..."
