MotoGP to conduct 20-rider parade before Mandalika round, Quartararo not listed
To mark its return to Indonesia for the first time in 25 years, MotoGP has announced a special 20-rider parade will take place through the capital of Jakarta.
The line-up will consist of 16 MotoGP riders, along with two from Moto2, one from Moto3 and one from the Asia Talent Cup.
Included in the parade are premier class world champions Marc Marquez and Joan Mir, 2021 race winners Francesco Bagnaia, Jorge Martin and Jack Miller, while MotoGP’ newest race winner Enea Bastianini will also be riding through the streets of Jakarta on Wednesday the 16th.
However, there are several big names who won’t be in attendance which are current world champion Fabio Quartararo, second place finisher in Qatar Brad Binder and both Aprilia riders Aleix Espargaro and Maverick Vinales.
Franco Morbidelli (Monster Energy Yamaha Team), Miguel Oliveira (Factory Red Bull KTM Racing), Raul Fernandez and Remy Gardner (Tech 3 KTM) are the others who will miss out.
