Confirmed: Yamaha inks Camel deal.
As exclusively revealed by Crash.net last week, tobacco giant JT International is to switch its Camel brand from Honda to Yamaha for the 2006 MotoGP season, with the factory team getting a new yellow livery courtesy of title sponsorship.

Crash.net understands that, in a surprise move, former Honda Pons sponsor Camel is currently in contention to become the new title sponsor of the Factory Yamaha Team, for the 2006 MotoGP season.

After 25 seasons competing at the highest level of the motorcycle world championship, Sito Pons has announced that his eponymous MotoGP squad will not be on the grid in 2006.
