German MotoGP - Race results

Race results from the German MotoGP, round eight of the 2010 world championship.

The race was stopped after nine complete laps due to a fiery three-bike accident involving ninth-place Randy de Puniet, Pramac Ducati's Aleix Espargaro and Rizla Suzuki's Alvaro Bautista.

de Puniet has fractured his left leg.

The restart was held over 21 laps with the starting order at the end of lap nine.

Reigning seven time MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi was making his return to MotoGP action this weekend, after missing the last four races due to a broken right leg.

Alex de Angelis also returned to MotoGP this weekend, in place of the injured Hiroshi Aoyama at Interwetten Honda...
