2021 French MotoGP, Le Mans - Full Warm-up Results
Last year's wet Le Mans race winner Petrucci leads a soaking warm-up session for the French MotoGP, ahead of Miller and Oliveira.
Home star Zarco was an early faller, at Turn 8, swiftly followed by world champion Mir at Turn 3. Mir and then later Pol Espargaro and Repsol Honda team-mate Marc Marquez all lost the rear, rather than the front, into the infamous first chicane.
Most riders used the softer of the wet tyres front and rear, with a few trying the medium front.
A wet race is forecast for this afternoon, but the track is currently drying...
Quartararo is riding for the first time since arm-pump surgery on his right forearm. Injured rookie Jorge Martin is again replaced by Rabat. Marquez, sidelined for nine months after complications to a broken right arm at Jerez last July, is taking part in his third event since returning to MotoGP action.
Lecuona has a three-second time penalty for the race after causing a crash, with Alex Marquez, at Jerez.
