Dovizioso fastest from Mir and Nakagami during warm-up for the Styrian MotoGP at the Red Bull Ring.
KTM and Espargaro take a first pole position, for the Styrian MotoGP at the Red Bull Ring, ahead of Nakagami and Zarco. Nakagami lost his (slightly slower) last lap for exceeding track limits at turn one, but also claimed a best-ever MotoGP qualifying.
Injured Zarco leads Qualifying 1 for the Styrian MotoGP and will advance to Qualifying 2 alongside Petrucci. The others will start, in the following order, from 13th on the grid onwards.

KTM's Espargaro stays quickest, from Rossi and Dovizioso, during a dry final practice for the Austrian MotoGP at Red Bull Ring. Both Espargaro brothers fell in quick succession at Turn 9 in the closing stages.
Vinales leads Free Practice 3 on a drying track at the Austrian MotoGP, but Espargaro and KTM remain fastest overall.
Miller leads a slow-moving Free Practice 2, held in mixed wet-dry conditions, at the Red Bull Ring in Austria. A downpour before the session soaked the Turn 3-4 area, keeping most riders in the pits until the final five minutes when the track was finally dry enough for slicks.
Espargaro keeps Brno winner KTM on top of the MotoGP timesheets by leading a dry Free Practice 1 for their home Austrian Grand Prix at Red Bull Ring. The threat of rain meant all riders made a time attack at the end of the session.

Zarco snatches a shock pole position for the Czech Republic MotoGP at Brno! Quartararo falls on his final lap trying to overturn his fellow Frenchman's time while team-mate Morbidelli completes the front row.
Rins and Binder now progress to the Q2 pole position shootout, where they will join the ten fastest riders after third practice. Nakagami loses the top spot after running over the green paint on corner exit. Disaster for Dovizioso who is left 18th on the grid.
