Veteran American Sam Ermolenko rolled backl the years to claim the Scottish Open title in Edinburgh last night gping through the card unbeaten.
Ermolenko showed that, at 42 years of age, he can still ride a speedway bike pretty fast as only two days earlier he's scored a six ride paid maximum in the Elite League while guesting for Poole at Ipswich.
He carried that form with him to Armadale, convinced throughout qualifying then saw off Carl Stonehewer, George Stancl and Kevin Little in the grand final.
