Bartercard V8Supergirl chosen.

After a year of the Bartercard V8super competition being staged at all 12 rounds of the 2004 V8 Supercar Championship Series in Australia and New Zealand a winner has been decided.

Some 3,000 girls participated in the contest with 38 beautiful girls making it through to the Grand Final. The girls were judged in interview, photographic, swimwear and cocktail wear.

Twenty-two year old Queenslander Renee Maurer was awarded the title 2005 Bartercard V8Super Girl and now has a fast paced year ahead of her. Renee will be flown to each round of the V8 Supercar Chamionship race in 2005 as an ambassador for the series.

After a gruelling week of competition in Sydney the inaugural Bartercard V8Super Girl has been not only won the title 'Bartercard V8 Super Girl' but also $20,000 (AUS) worth of cash and prizes including a photographic portfolio and a set of Dunlop tyres (!), and the promotional contract to be an ambassador for major sponsor Bartercard Australia.
